3 Common Questions & Concerns about Money
It’s Financial Friday again!
Amelia here, your love & money editor, and I’m excited for this week.
Thank you SO much for submitting your biggest money questions and concerns last week. Your response was incredible!
When reading your responses, I noticed THREE common themes so I am addressing them this week...
Common theme #1: “I have no idea how much money I need to be making to feel truly happy.”
I want you to know that is totally normal and okay to have no idea how much money you need.
Most people don’t!
However, I also want you to know that not knowing provides a huge disconnect and is likely a main source of all your money struggles.
If you don’t know where you’re going, how will you know when you get there?
So many people say they want more money or to learn how to better spend and save yet, they don’t know their numbers at all!
The solution? KNOW YOUR NUMBERS. ALL of them. Get to know what comes in, what goes out, how much you owe, how much you have, and how much you truly need to feel happy.
How do you get to know your numbers?
That’s where I come in. I can help you.
I’ve put together a super simple method to get to know your numbers in a way that is empowering and fun and you don’t need to be a CPA for it to make sense.

Common theme #2: “I feel confused about and am struggling with knowing where to spend my money and how much to spend.”
This theme is related to the first problem of not knowing your numbers specifically when it comes to your BUDGET.
Budget is such a common phrase that gets thrown around a lot but, what does it really mean to “budget well”?
Chances are, you don’t know how to effectively budget in a way that makes you feel empowered and on top of things.
This is also okay and very common.
You likely just need a little help and a few tweaks to get crystal clear on where your budget is and where you need it to be.
Once you get to know your numbers and get clear on budget, a few amazing things happen:
You’re able to make clear decisions about spending money.
You feel confident in your ability to save enough.
You feel great about the way you save and spend money.
You stop feeling guilty about impulse spending.
You start feeling responsible and empowered around how you use your money.
You stop second guessing spending choices.
You struggle less and indecision goes away!
There are many ways someone can teach you how to budget your money.
(Trust me, I’ve searched and tried them all!)
Honestly, most of the ways people suggest can seem daunting and overwhelming and leave you feeling more confused.
Lucky for you, I’ve developed the simplest way to budget your money and this method will meet you where you’re at!
I call it Your Aligned Money Plan.
If you’re interested in learning this plan, let’s have a conversation. I’d love to help you.
Common theme #3: “When it comes to money, I’d like to learn how to better plan for the future.”
So many of you are hungry for more information and knowledge about investing, saving, planning for retirement, and making your money grow so you can financially support your loved ones.
I love that!
This is such a common desire for people yet most don’t even know where to start.
My best recommendation to you is to read Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. Even if you’ve already read it, read it again!
I read the book at least once a year because it helps me level up my money mindset, gain more knowledge, and get clear on the investments I want to make.

I gotta be honest with you. Reading books, articles, and these blogs can only take you so far.
The fastest way to get where you want to go is to talk to someone about your goals and plans (that’s what I’m here for!).
There’s a lot of broke people trying to give other broke people advice. Avoid that advice! Don’t listen to people who are struggling with money if you want to stop struggling.
